| WISH LIST: Disposable cameras 35 mm Film Polaroid camera & film Blankets and sheets (used is fine) Dog water & food bowls (used is fine) Straw Dog houses (used is fine) Hog Panel & Fence posts Gift certificate to feed store (potbellied pig food) Pooper Scoopers Dog crates (used is fine) Digital camera & computer for the rescue program (used is fine) Volunteer time to help build a web site Volunteer time to help with the pigs or provide a foster home Printing (for applications, brochures, posters, etc.) We are a very small rescue organization, trying to serve a very large need in the tri-state area of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. We are willing to help with any pig in need, anywhere and are working to build our network to become nationwide. Currently we have about 5 volunteers and many, many pigs in need. Thus far we have been able to help every pig that has come into our program with vet care and foster care, however it has been at a tremendous expense to our volunteers and through donations to our vets. We operate very similar to any other pet rescue and adoption group, however, we do not have a shelter, we rely on foster homes to care for unwanted pigs until they can be placed. |
